About Us

A Foundation Built on Experience

Today's Child Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity focused on adoption and child welfare. The Foundation operates under its own independent Board of Directors and governance structure and is classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a publicly supported organization under IRC §509(a)(1) and §170(b)(1)(A)(vi). While the Foundation shares common founding leadership with entities of The Howell Legacy Group, it is a separately governed charitable organization and maintains arm's-length relationships with all affiliated entities in accordance with IRC §4958 intermediate sanctions rules.

Today's Child Foundation was established in August 2025 to continue the legacy of adoption advocacy inspired by decades of work at the National Adoption Center. Our founders bring firsthand experience as adoptive families, understanding the unique joys and challenges of building families through adoption.

Today’s Child Foundation has been named the winner of the Initiative or Program (Americas) category at the 2026 WealthBriefing Wealth For Good Awards, administered by ClearView Financial Media. The recognition honors the Foundation’s mission-embedded programs in child welfare and adoption support. Winners were announced on 11 June 2026 at a cocktail reception at Druces LLP in the City of London.

Today’s Child Foundation is an independent IRC §509(a) public charity governed by its own Board of Directors. While the Foundation is affiliated with The Howell Legacy Group’s broader family office architecture, its programs operate under independent governance with focused mission accountability.

The Wealth For Good award is one of three recognitions received by entities affiliated with The Howell Legacy Group in the 2026 WFG Americas cycle. Sibling entity AITCH Technologies LLC received the Innovative Technology Solution award; parent organization The Howell Legacy Group received the Leading Individual award. The Howell Legacy Group also received the Family Wealth Report Awards 2026 Healthcare Services award announced in April.
